Pros
- The tried and tested Allwinner H700 flawlessly handles all Dreamcast games and below.
- Comes with 1:1 720 x 720 screen just like the Anbernic RG Cube but cheaper.
- One of the most comfortable and ergonomically designed H700 devices.
- Build quality is better than expected, it is quite pocketable too.
- D-pad has the Genesis controller design and works great for fighting games. False diagonals are minimal. Other controls are excellent.
- Perfect for Pico8, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, NES and SNES gaming. Okay-ish for 3:2 GBA games, or other 4:3 games.
Cons
- 1:1 screen is not suitable for 16:9 games.
- When playing 4:3 games, you’re only getting about 3.6 inches of actual screen real estate. If 4:3 gaming is your priority, you might be better off with the RG40XX H or RG40XXV.
- Analog sticks has less but still obvious cardinal snapping.
- There are reported backlight bleeding issues for some users.
