Advantages of Anbernic RG35XX
- The RG35XX is more compact than the RG353VS.
- You can get the RG35XX for half the price of the RG353VS.
- This is possibly subjective but the RG35XX has a way larger fan base and community than the RG353VS.
Advantages of Anbernic RG353VS
- Larger and slightly more comfortable if you are planning to have long gaming sessions.
- The Rockchip RK3566 is a significantly more powerful processor than the one on the 35XX. With this chip, you can also play N64, Dreamcast, NDS and PSP games – all of which are not possible on the 35XX.
- It comes with dual analog sticks which is missing on the 35XX.
- Larger battery capacity resulting in slightly better battery life.
- Built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
TLDR
Although from the same company, both devices serve different segments and are priced differently with different performance and features. The Anbernic RG35XX is a really popular starter device if you don’t mind playing up until 16 bit consoles while the Anbernic RG353VS is for people who want a little bit more performance and don’t mind doing a little tinkering to get the most out of it.
