Advantages of Anbernic RG405M
- Metal chassis is cool looking and cool feeling.
- 4:3 display is perfect for retro games. You won’t see the thick black bars on the sides unlike the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro.
- Overall the RG405M is a smaller device and it fits better into your pocket.
Advantages of Retroid Pocket 4 Pro
- Higher resolution and wide screen makes the RP4 Pro better at playing PSP games or game streaming.
- Twice as powerful as the RG405M, able to run quite a bit more of 6th gen console games like the PS2.
- Analog triggers are great especially if you are into racing games.
TLDR
Both are great devices. If you like 4:3 games and can’t stand black bars, go for the RG405M. If PSP is your priority or if you need the most powerful device between the two, go for the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro.
