Pros

  • Powerful enough to emulate GameCube and PS2, yet still compact enough to fit into a pocket easily.
  • Strikes a good balance between price and performance.
  • Good battery life up to 8 hours for light gaming and 3 hours for heavy gaming.
  • Good controls with hall sensors and for the first time in Retroid devices, it has linear/analog triggers.

Cons

  • Downward facing speakers may sound muffled.
  • 4.7 inch display may be a little small.
  • Fans can be really loud when on Performance or High Performance modes.
  • Compatibility issues when emulating Sega Saturn.
  • Non linearity of the linear/analog triggers.
  • Poor performance on Switch emulation.
