Pros
- One of the best Ryzen 7840U device you can get below $800. It offers almost everything you can expect of a high end device – good controls and build quality, great performance, decent battery life.
- RAM speed can be increased to 7500 MHz in a future update. This will likely improve gaming performance by up to 15%.
- AYASpace 2 is a big improvement over its predecessor. Smart TDP function allows the CPU’s and GPU’s TDP to be dynamically updated to meet the needs of the game being played.
- It is supposed to be the younger sibling of the AYANEO 2S but it doesn’t feel like a lesser device. Comfort is somewhat better than on the 2S due to the offset button and sticks and they are one of the best you can get at this price point.
Cons
- Comes standard with a 800P for all variants except for the most expensive variant which comes with a 1200P screen. Although the 800P screen may provide better battery life, 800P feels a little ‘off’ for a Ryzen 7840U device.
