Pros
- Can be used both as a gaming handheld as well as a VR headset.
- High resolution 4K display is unheard of in this price range. Display is bright and good color reproduction. Supports 144 Hz refresh rate.
- Able to handle almost all games thrown at it. Performance is rarely an issue for all the systems it can emulate.
- Battery life is quite good at around 4 – 5 hours.
- Not only are the usual games supported, this device has the added benefit of supporting VR only games.
Cons
- VR kit is sold separately. Costs an additional $79.
- As a VR device, it is not as good as VR headsets built from the ground up just for VR alone.
- Lackluster battery life.
- Limited functionality in software.
