Advantages of Retroid Pocket 2+
- Cheaper.
- Its 4:3 aspect ratio is much more suited for 4th and 5th gen consoles.
Advantages of Retroid Pocket 3
- Bigger screen.
- 16:9 aspect ratio allows it to play PSP games better than the Pocket 2+.
- It has slightly better ergonomics than the Pocket 2+.
TLDR
Both devices are using the same chipset and they are definitely not powerful enough to play games from the 6th gen consoles and onwards. Due to this reason alone, we will recommend going for the Retroid Pocket 2+ as its screen is really made for 4th and 5th consoles while the only advantage of the widescreen in the Retroid Pocket 3+ is PSP gaming. Go for the Retroid Pocket 3 if PSP games is what you will be spending most of your time on.
