The Anbernic RG405V is the younger brother to the Anbernic RG405M. It is one of the few devices in the market offering a 4 inch 4:3 screen paired with the sufficiently powerful Unisoc Tiger T618. Being the only 4 inch gaming handheld with a vertical/portrait orientation, it does offer a unique selling point.

Pros

4 inch 4:3 display is the same exact screen as the one on the Anbernic RG405M. As with our comments on the RG405M, a 4 inch screen is a day and night difference compared to 3.5 inch screens.
This is the only device in the market offering a 4 inch screen in the vertical/portrait orientation.
The wood grain design is an eye catcher.
The size makes the Anbernic RG405V very comfortable to use. If you think the Anbernic RG35XX or the Miyoo Mini Plus is too small for your comfort, then the Anbernic RG405V is for you.
Huge battery which allows up to 8 hours gaming time. This is beyond impressive!
Performance is as expected from a Unisoc Tiger T618 – you should be able to play about 30% – 50% of the PS2 or GameCube library.
